All those who walk, run, cycle, and gather on the Katy Trail enjoy features that are only possible due to donations from supporting members. The essentials and amenities funded by Friends of the Katy Trail memberships include beautiful native plants landscaping, maintenance, safety and directions signage, lights, security patrols, and water for people and pets.
Memberships help FKT meet the needs of the very in-demand, community-funded Katy Trail!
If you use and love the Katy Trail, please support FKT’s mission by becoming a member.
A Plus One $125 membership, for example, covers the cost of two hours of security on the Trail, and a $500 membership covers one month of light repairs.
Hanging Basket Sets are the most beautiful naming opportunity on the Katy Trail. Available in a stretch near the Beasley entrance, hanging basket sets are planted each spring and fall for the donor and the community to enjoy and come with a naming plaque .
