Amy Bean

Born and raised in Dallas, Amy earned her B.S. degree from The University of Texas and a Master of Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School. Amy has a passion for nonprofit management and social enterprise. Before joining Friends of the Katy Trail, Amy served as Executive Director of the Young Women’s Preparatory Network, founded her own social enterprise, Tiny Bee Gift Co., and most recently, brought the Brooklyn-based Shared Studios global, experiential art concept ‘Portal’ to Dallas. With a love of all things outdoors, Amy can often be found enjoying the Katy Trail with her husband and their three children.

Ann Whitley Wood

Ann is a graduate of Stanford University and The University of Texas School of Law. A sixth generation Texan and native Dallasite, Ann brings a legal and business owner background to the Trail, a deep knowledge of the Dallas community, and experience working in development at another beloved city greenspace, Klyde Warren Park. She likes to walk the Trail with Seymour, a beagle-dachsund mix. Ann handles major gifts fundraising for the Trail, including individual donors and corporate partnerships, Trail naming opportunities, grants, and the membership program.

Bree Redwine

Bree graduated with a FM Degree and jumped right into visual direction work for Esprit, The Limited, and Guess for over ten years. She comes from the Texas coast and is attentive to detail, creative, and loves the running community. As an avid runner, she was featured in “Covid Winter Chases Runners Into Parking Garages”(The Wall Street Journal, March 5, 2021). Bree has extensive race direction experience, including with Run Project as the Community Outreach Director. When Bree isn’t on the Trail, she is with her four kids or running with the Pint Striders.

Hayley Schindler

Hayley is a Kentucky native turned Dallasite who graduated from Southern Methodist University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Administration in Marketing. When she is not spending time on the Trail with her Australian Shepherd, Archie, she can be found playing beach volleyball, cheering on the Dallas Stars, or trying out the newest spot in the Dallas food scene.

Meghan Walker

Meghan is a 2021 graduate of Texas Tech University, and her degree is a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management. She was born and raised in Dallas and is very happy to be back in our city. Whenever Meghan is not working, she can be found traveling, hanging out with friends, shopping, or walking her yellow lab, Berkley!

Carl Wagner

A graduate of Stanford University from the Napa Valley, Carl comes to the Katy Trail with a passion for the outdoors and natural beauty. He was an Academic All-American on the Stanford Golf team and has worked as a professional golfer, movie executive, and, more recently, in banking and financial services. Having grown up on golf courses, Carl is a stickler for tidy and well-kept greenspaces, and that shows on the Katy Trail!
