In the final days of 2023, the Katy Trail Staff and Board of Directors wish to express our gratitude to all who use, love, and support the Katy Trail.  We send our best wishes for a happy and healthy 2024 and look forward to seeing you on the Trail in the new year.  

2023 has been a memorable year for Friends of the Katy Trail.   As a result of your support, the year’s highlights include a sold-out Katy 5K, a D CEO award nomination for Midsize Nonprofit Team of the Year, Trail art installations by Nic Nicosia and Will Boone, nine additional Community Partners, a new pet adoptions on the Trail program, and physical enhancements to the Trail, such as the South end bicycle repair station, the UT Southwestern Fitness Center, and the improved Armstrong east entrance.    

FKT is proud and grateful that the North Texas community supports the Katy Trail at such a high level and allows us to nurture this urban greenbelt park.
